We will be closed 11/20/21 due to AGF Tournament

Attention Gracie Barra Family!

As we have been announcing in classes recently, there is a local tournament coming up on November 20th in St. Charles, MO, run by the American Grappling Federation! We will never force anybody to compete, but it is a fantastic way to test yourself and improve as a jiu jitsu practitioner and person! Anybody that wants to compete can compete! If this is your 1st time competing, please talk with the Professors and Coaches so they can give you some guidance.

We recommend that anyone who decides to register to register for gi (in the uniform) and no gi (just rashguard & shorts)! We have been preparing for both divisions in classes recently and want everyone to have as many matches as possible to gain the most experience!

We will be closed Saturday, November 20th, as all of the staff will be at the tournament to coach, and some are competing as well!

Once you are officially registered on the website, please put your name or your child’s name on the sign up sheet we have at the front desk. This allows for us to have a headcount so we can make sure that every student has a coach!

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask any of the coaches or professors on staff! This will be the first tournament we are doing as a team since COVID, and we are very excited to go out there, do our best, and, hopefully, bring back that first place team trophy!
