Jeremy Null

I’m Jeremy Null, and I’m honored to share my passion for grappling with you. With over three decades of wrestling and Jiu Jitsu experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge, skill, and dedication to our gym.

A Lifetime of Grappling: My journey in wrestling began at the age of three, and since then, I’ve competed and excelled in tournaments across the country, including national and international championships. From college wrestling to my service in the Navy, where I competed and won tournaments overseas in Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, Bahrain, and beyond, wrestling and grappling has been a constant in my life.

Service and Sacrifice:During my time in the Navy, I served on VBSS Teams and as a Rescue Swimmer, conducting combat operations in the Arabian Gulf and Horn of Africa. I also had the opportunity to embark on combat and humanitarian missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa. As a battalion Fitness Leader, CLS Medic, and weapons instructor, I honed my leadership and combat skills, always striving to excel in service to my country.

Discovering Jiu Jitsu: Upon returning from military service, I discovered the transformative power of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I’ve since competed in numerous BJJ tournaments across the country, finding joy and fulfillment in the art of Jiu Jitsu.

Coaching Philosophy: My favorite part of coaching is sharing the wealth of experience I’ve gained over the years with our members, especially our youth. Mentoring and guiding others on their Jiu Jitsu journey brings me immense satisfaction, and I cherish the camaraderie and bonds formed with my training partners and family.

Beyond the Mat: As a military combat veteran, Jiu Jitsu helped me fill the hole left from multiple combat deployments and created newfound camaraderie with additional military, firefighter, and law enforcement personnel. Outside of the gym, I serve as the Director of Recruitment for a health system, where I continue to apply my leadership skills to positively impact lives.

I’m thrilled to be part of your Jiu Jitsu journey, and I look forward to helping you reach your full potential both on and off the mats.
