Get to Know Your Instructor! Coach Alyssa Luecke

My name is Alyssa Luecke. I am 20 years old and I have been training jiu jitsu since I was 11 years old. When I turned 16, I was offered a coaching job and have been teaching ever since! I started competing at age 13 and have improved over the years as well as have been lucky to have the chance to travel to several states to do so. Outside of jiu jitsu, I enjoy working out, reading, and hanging out with friends and family.
1. Family... I am the youngest of 3 siblings with two older brothers. My brother Dominic was the first one to try jiu jitsu and soon enough I followed in his footsteps along with my dad and other brother.
2. Off of the Mats... When I am not training or teaching, I can probably be found discovering new restaurants and coffee shops with friends, reading a book, or in the gym!

4. What I Enjoy About Teaching... My favorite part of teaching is seeing students
level up not only in jiu jitsu, but self confidence and the ability to take what they
learn in class and apply it to other areas of life.
5. Fun Fact About Me... A fun fact about me is that I am learning how to speak
Portuguese!
